A Chart Where the Danger Wasn’t Obvious

Yesterday a friend who practices Western astrology and I were studying the chart of a newborn who, just after birth, was wrapped in a quilt by their own mother and pushed from a high building.

The main thing was that at first glance, the signs of misfortune in that chart weren’t very obvious.

From 04:50 to 03:30

This case was at first thought to be born in the 寅 double-hour. Adjusting to 04:50 — still within 寅 — the Life Palace jumps to the next palace because of true solar time, and the misfortune becomes more obvious. But then I found that Purple Star Astrology and Bazi couldn’t derive the misfortune.

Then we looked at Western astrology: at 04:50 the misfortune wasn’t obvious there either. So I talked it through with my friend, who specializes in Western astrology, and after adjusting we pinned the birth time to 03:30 — and the whole picture of misfortune became very clear.

How Formulas Grow

Afterward I checked the Seven Regulators once more and dug out a line of judgment for the whole reading. The logic itself doesn’t leave the original logic; it just runs in another direction.

From there, use that logic to study other cases, keep verifying it, and it will settle.

A great many formulas grow out of the core logic step by step like this — they are researched into being.

I once heard an elderly Bazi teacher say that, by his age, he had seen no fewer than thirty thousand charts. I truly admire that.
