Po Jun Has a Good Side and a Bad Side
What makes a good Po Jun?
Everyone has Po Jun (破軍) somewhere on their Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗數) chart. Whether it is good or bad depends on whether it meets Lu Cun (祿存) or Hua Lu (化祿).
Po Jun in the Life Palace, and 185 cm tall
Here is an example. I just saw someone on my feed say he is 185 cm tall and has Po Jun in the Xu (戌) palace on his chart.
And the books say that a person with Po Jun in the Life Palace (命宮) is not tall.
Reading it that way is using Zi Wei Dou Shu too rigidly.
When Po Jun meets Lu, the loss does not show
Po Jun stands for breaking and loss, and everyone has it. So why does the loss of Po Jun hardly show in some people? Because their Po Jun meets a Lu star, or because Tian Xiang (天相) in the opposite palace is flanked by Lu stars or meets one.
Po Jun and Tian Xiang have the closest relationship of all.
As for that person, whose chart I lost when my feed refreshed: in the three harmonies of his Po Jun there is Tan Lang (貪狼) with Hua Lu. That Lu star makes up for what Po Jun drains away, which is why he did not turn out short.
Go and check whether the Po Jun on your chart meets a Lu star.
If you do not have your own Zi Wei Dou Shu chart yet, you can cast one on the chart calculator and see which palace Po Jun falls in and whether Lu Cun or Hua Lu is in its three harmonies.
