How does the Mars person relate to the Saturn person and the Jupiter person?

The Mars person's drive — action, competition, breaking through — nourishes the Saturn person: Saturn's tolerance and acceptance come from having experienced and understood these things, and it is Fire's energy that carries them all the way to success. Jupiter, in turn, nourishes Mars, providing solid, verified knowledge that allows the Mars person to keep improving their efficiency over time.

Self, small-self, competition: these are the hallmarks of the Mars person. Fire is like a pressure cooker: the energy sealed inside strains to break free and burst out.

That force wanting to break through everything is how Fire manifests.

And it is all for oneself — what one might call selfish.

But this is good. We must first fill ourselves; when we are full to overflowing, the overflow naturally nourishes others. This is how it should go — like a bucket filled to the brim: keep pouring, and the water spills out to nourish the ground around it. That kind of giving is not forced. It does not leave you feeling aggrieved; it does not breed resentment from over-giving; it does not put pressure on others. It becomes a win for everyone.

Fill the small-self first; then the large-self.

Competition — everything requires it. Even doing good things is a form of competition, because the more you possess, the greater your power to achieve more, and all of it can be something brilliant and radiant.

The Mars person cares deeply about their image. Their competition is partly in service of that image: in material terms, they use material things as tools to express their inner, spiritual side — a reflection of how much the Mars person values what lies within. And through competition, the Mars person's fast, fierce emotions also find expression.

So the Mars person is intensely action-oriented. Fire represents action — the explosive force of something compressed until it bursts through. Both in action and in spirit, this is how the Mars person moves.

Compared with the Sun person, the Mars person tends to see things from their own vantage point and does what they themselves want. The Sun person, by contrast, holds everyone in view, knowing when to advance and when to step back. That is the difference between them.

But that requires Fire's energy to sustain them, carrying the Saturn person all the way to the end, to that final moment of success.

Fire matters so much. So what nourishes Fire?

Jupiter does. Jupiter is the most vital energy for Fire.
