The Destined Hero — The Sun Person
Decisive and vigorous, a perfectionist, never fixated on any one spot, reaching their goals by every available means; able to adapt and draw on the resources of different people to strike a balance, and not swayed by the opinions of others — that is the Sun person (a person whose Stellar Regent is the Sun).
The Sun person uses their own radiance to light up the radiance in other people's hearts.
They illuminate the true form of things, exposing the blind spots that were there all along, and make everyone feel that they are deeply valuable.
What is value? The Sun is value; light is value.
Our world is full of shadows and blind spots; things are veiled under layer upon layer of filters, so that we cannot see through or grasp their true form. Gradually this breeds doubt, unease, and other negative feelings about ourselves — and even about the things we do, a sense that perhaps they don't matter that much after all.
A powerful Sun person can infect others — letting them see that what they are doing truly does have value, helping them clear away their own blind spots and solve their problems, and so filling them with a deep sense of accomplishment.
The Sun person is a born leader of others, a hero: they can uncover the value in other people and place them in exactly the right position.
So the Sun person naturally carries a kind of nobility — and that nobility comes from their ideals. The Sun person is always full of ideals and goals, and through those ideals they can move others, making other people willing to give their all for them. But ideals almost always touch the interests of a great many people; and the Sun person is also a perfectionist. So to achieve their ideals they become endlessly versatile: where feeling is needed to move people, they use feeling; where reason and argument are needed to persuade, they use reason.
Reason and feeling are both the Sun person's weapons. As the real situation demands, they will change themselves — and they do not rely on themselves alone. The Sun person has a gift for knowing people and using them well: whatever the task, they assign the right person to handle it. They follow no fixed pattern — as Laozi put it, the noble one is like a dragon, able to be great or small, to rise or lie hidden, forever changing.
But however much the Sun person changes, they still have to achieve their ideals — so they come into sharp conflict with established interests. This is why the Sun person does not succeed easily; but once they do, the achievement is great.
The Sun person likes the Venus person and the Mercury person best; the Saturn person is so-so, and the Moon person is also average. They dislike the Mars person and the Jupiter person.
The Venus person and the Mercury person are relatively gentle and readily accept the Sun person's ideals, so the Sun person likes them. The Mars person and the Jupiter person are more stubborn and do not easily accept the Sun person's direction, so the Sun person likes them less.
And with that — Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Saturn — all seven of the Stellar Regent types have been introduced.
