Blessings Palace
福德宮
The palace of good affinity and grace — benefactors, reputation, public support, and the emotional and karmic savings carried onward.
The Blessings Palace (福德宮) governs good affinity, grace, and social goodwill — benefactors and helpful connections, reputation and public support, and the "emotional savings account" a person accumulates. In the tradition, when material things and achievements cannot be carried beyond a lifetime, the goodwill stored in this palace is what passes onward.
It sits at the 巳 hour, the image of a bustling marketplace thick with people: to command wide support one must join the crowd, affirm others, and win the favour of the many. A strong Blessings Palace faces the public well and finds many footholds and opportunities.
It works with the Creativity Palace as its opposite — the private well of grace and support against the outward burst of creative expression. Its keynote is that merit precedes fortune: goodwill built up becomes standing and opportunity.
