The Challenger Archetype (難格) — "The Problem-Solver" — is the personality pattern formed when the Imprinting Star stands in the Challenger ("controls me") relationship to the self. Each person carries one archetype: the habitual angle from which they first read the world.
The Problem-Solver's first glance is on the mechanism — how did this happen, and how is it fixed? Their decisions start from the structure and context of events. Facing constraint, they orient naturally toward diagnosis and resolution.
The five archetypes share roots with the five star-relations: the Imprinting Star's relationship to the Stellar Regent decides which one a person carries. This entry frames perspective only; specific chart judgment sits at the practice layer.
