Wealth Palace

財帛宮

The palace of settled wealth — earned income, savings, and material foundation; the 2nd-house counterpart, paired against the Adversity Palace.

The Wealth Palace (財帛宮) is the house of settled, static wealth in Eastern Classical Astrology — earned income, savings, and the material foundation that sustains life (養命之源). Where the Life Palace is the self arriving in the world, the Wealth Palace is how the self extends its boundary by taking in and using material resources.

Its emphasis is accumulation and stability rather than movement: the judgment of material value, consumption attitude, and the pragmatic, results-oriented handling of tangible assets. It sits at the pre-dawn energy point of the diurnal cycle — the quiet gathering before sunrise.

The Wealth Palace forms a deliberate pair with the Adversity Palace (疾厄宮): static wealth (savings, stock) against dynamic wealth (speculative, borrowed, future-facing gain), mirroring the classical 2nd/8th-house division.
